Installing the iLinc Client

In order to be able to join a live webinar session or view a recorded session, you will have to install the iLinc client. This is a very simple process that should take no more than a few minutes, depending on your download speed.

First, go to the MAR iLinc home page. It will open in a new window so these instructions remain onscreen.

When the page loads, you will see a System Test option in the menu.

PLEASE NOTE: You will NEVER need a login/password to join an MAR webinar. The login screen you see when you first visit the MAR iLinc page is for administrators to log in. Just follow the instructions below and you will be ready to go in no time.

  1. Click System Test to begin.

  2. Click Start Part II

  3. Watch for an Information Bar to appear in your browser (IE Users only).

  4. When you see the info bar, RIGHT CLICK and select Install ActiveX Control

  5. Next you will see a Security Warning popup window. Click on More options, then select Always install software from "iLinc Communications" and then click Install

  6. Shortly you will see the client itself launch. This indicates a sucessful instillation of the client. Refer to the screen for instructions on how to exit the test room.
